Introduction to Painting in Watercolour

Have you, or someone you know, ever wanted to try watercolour but are not sure where to start?   

This one-day workshop is an excellent introduction to using watercolours giving you an opportunity to explore and experiment in this medium.

We will work through a series of exercises to develop skill and confidence.  We will practice the skills of washes, colour mixing, brush work skills and avoiding sludge while creating paintings filled with light.

Suitable for all levels of ability.

All materials are provided.

It may be useful to bring a pencil and notebook.

The Watercolour Group

The watercolour group is for new and improving watercolour painters.  These course is designed to cover a range of topics and techniques in an informal and fun environment.

It is intended to teach new skills and explore the challenge that this medium can throw at a artist
